Event Wallet

The Event Wallet is a financial management tool for event organizers to track earnings and process withdrawals from ticket sales.

Viewing Earnings and Transaction History

Your Event Wallet provides a comprehensive overview of your financial activity:

Wallet Dashboard

The wallet dashboard displays:

  • Available Balance: Funds available for withdrawal
  • Pending Balance: Recent sales that are still in the holding period
  • Total Earnings: Lifetime earnings from all events

Transaction History

View detailed transaction records including:

  • Sales: Individual ticket purchases with buyer information
  • Refunds: Record of any refunded tickets
  • Withdrawals: History of funds transferred to your bank account
  • Fees: Platform and payment processing fees

⚠️ Warning
Funds from ticket sales are held for a security period of 7 days before becoming available for withdrawal.

Requesting Withdrawals

To withdraw funds from your Event Wallet:

  1. Navigate to your Event Wallet in the organizer dashboard
  2. Click "Withdraw Funds" button
  3. Enter the withdrawal amount (must be less than or equal to your available balance)
  4. Select payment method for receiving funds
  5. Confirm withdrawal request

💡 Tip: Withdrawal Processing Times

  • M-Pesa: Usually processed within 24 hours
  • Bank Transfer: 2-3 business days
  • International Bank Transfer: 3-5 business days

To receive your earnings, you need to set up at least one payment method:

Adding Payment Methods

Llama Events supports the following payment methods for organizers:

  • M-Pesa: Enter your registered M-Pesa phone number
  • Bank Accounts (Kenya): Provide your bank name, account number, and branch details
  • International Bank Accounts: Enter SWIFT/BIC code and IBAN number

Verification Requirements

For security purposes, you may need to verify your payment methods:

  • For M-Pesa: Verification is done through a confirmation code sent to your phone
  • For bank accounts: You may need to upload a bank statement or void check
